Rejection

Rejection is an extremely painful thing. It is a mixture of anxiety over “putting yourself out there” and the wound that is made when you are turned away. Believe me, I’ve been rejected more than once. It hurts, it makes you lose confidence, and most of all, it can cause you to hate yourself. This should not be the case! If you are rejected, just learn from it and move on. It simply means it was the wrong person, wrong time, or a combination of both.
1 Samuel 16:7 - For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
When you are feeling brokenhearted, alone, and depressed, just remember that you aren’t alone. There is a God who loves you and wants you to be happy! The best thing is that God will not reject you! He does not look at petty things like appearance. He loves you for who you are.
Psalms 34:17-20 - When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
In summary, do not let rejection keep you down! I know it hurts, but it does get better. Some one better will come along. It's sometimes hard to believe, but I have faith. And to the ones that reject us- their loss, right? :)
